Mechanical Integrity Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The role of the Mechanical Integrity Engineer (MIE) is to provide technical guidance and lead development/support as company Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas of Mechanical Integrity (MI) and related engineering, including Recommended and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP), such as ASME, API, ANSI, AWS, and AMPP to better ensure overall facility safety, compliance, and equipment reliability. This includes support, development, improvement, and interpretation of the corporate MI program and its initiatives, practices, policies, and procedures. The MIE will also serve as an SME in the fixed and rotating equipment design, construction, inspection, maintenance and repair practices, their application and management within Targa MI.
