We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join a leading Aerospace Engineering Company in Poole, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly within the aerospace or a similar industry. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards at every stage of production.

Responsibilities


As a Mechanical Inspector, your key responsibilities will include:


  • Conducting dimensional and visual inspections of products at all required stages of manufacture, including 1st off, FAIR, final view, pre-treatments, and goods in/out.
  • Raising purchase orders for sub-contract suppliers.
  • Identifying and labeling non-conforming products, raising NCRs in accordance with procedures, and containing non-conforming parts.
