Mechanical Fitter – Ipswich / Claydon – £13.50 / hour 

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30

A world-renowned engineering business based in Suffolk; East Anglia is seeking applications from experienced Mechanical Fitters with experience of diesel and petrol engines.

Role & responsibilities

  • Experience with diesel and petrol engines
  • Fitting new engines to light plant machinery
  • Assembling components to be installation ready
  • Servicing customer/hire machines
  • Carrying out planned maintenance checks

    • Candidate profile/person specification

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Understanding of Health and Safety at work
  • Good time keeping and attendance
  • Positive attitude
  • Have own tools (any specialist tools will be provided)
