Overview The Cahill Group is seeking eager and dynamic candidates for a
Mechanical Estimator/Project Manager
position in St. John’s, NL. This role is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of mechanical projects from initial bid through project completion. This role combines estimating, project planning, and project management responsibilities, requiring the ability to develop competitive estimates, manage project execution, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.
What will you do?
Lead estimating activities including site visits, tender reviews, quantity takeoffs, labour estimates, and bid preparation.
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify project risks, opportunities, and execution requirements.
Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to develop competitive project estimates.
