Mechanical Engineering Technologist

Overview

As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will function at an expert level and apply your knowledge, skills, and experience to the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems primarily on IAMI but also on HVAC, nuclear ventilation, hydronic, fume hoods, hot cells, BAS, and work management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead mechanical system maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Design mechanical infrastructure changes of cooling water systems, HVAC/BAS systems, and nuclear ventilation.
• Maintain construction deficiency logs, warranty service requests, and commissioning updates.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs to meet regulatory and asset‑health requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
