Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience grow and expand our Mechanical Practice in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn you will serve clients by winning and delivering exceptional work, managing projects profitably, and mentoring the next generation. 

Responsibilities

  • Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.
  • Requires the ability to oversee the HVAC design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
  • Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controls
  • Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas
  • Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability
