Job Description

A Mechanical Engineer Project Coordinator facilitates the planning, execution, and closing of mechanical projects, acting as the liaison between project managers, field staff, subcontractors, and clients. Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation—such as RFIs and shop drawings—to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Documentation Control: Prepare, log, and maintain project documents, including Change Orders (CO), Requests for Information (RFI), and submittals.
  • Project Scheduling: Assist in creating project schedules, tracking progress.
  • Technical Support: Review mechanical drawings, specs, and shop drawings.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site superintendents for efficient site operations.
  • Site Support: Conduct site visits, assist with commissioning, and resolve field technical issues.
