Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities Engineering Systems & BOM Management Manage and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SAP and internal systems. Create and update item codes in accordance with company standards. Extract and analyse technical data from SAP and related systems. Provide BOM support and clarification to internal departments. CAD Design & Drafting Produce detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Develop drawings from site inspections, sketches, specifications, and general arrangements. Create innovative design solutions where required. Maintain drawing standards in line with ISO 9001 requirements. Mechanical Design & Calculations Perform mechanical load calculations and design assessments. Prepare documentation for mechanical certification. Apply knowledge of tolerances, materials, and engineering specifications. Review and approve technical drawings prior to manufacture.
