Mechanical Engineer

At Spaceium, we are building spacecraft systems designed to push the boundaries of what's possible in orbit. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design and develop mechanical systems and structures for our spacecraft platforms. You will own the mechanical design lifecycle from concept through manufacturing and testing, ensuring our hardware is flight‑ready and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and structures for spacecraft systems
• Perform structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis on mechanical designs
• Create detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software
• Work with manufacturing partners to produce prototypes and flight hardware
• Develop and execute test plans for mechanical qualification and acceptance
• Conduct trade studies on materials, fasteners, and joining methods
