Mechanical Engineer

**RESPONSIBILITIES** - Creates/modifies mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge. - Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOM’s based on options selected by the customer. - Works with Marketing, Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all of their needs. - Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and providing guidance when issues arise. - Gather feedback from prototype builds and field trials and implement appropriate improvements to the product. - Understands the products, suggest ideas and improvements. - Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues. - Coordinate performance testing in the lab. - Analyze test data, diagnose issues and determine changes to improve performance. - Thermal system modeling to determine performance and correct part selection. - Determine controls routines n...
