Mechanical Engineer (Design)

Master Drilling is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design, analyse and develop mechanical systems and components for our raise borer and drilling equipment. You will apply advanced engineering principles and design methodologies to deliver practical, safe, reliable and manufacturable solutions that perform in demanding underground conditions. About the role:
Design and develop mechanical systems, components and equipment
Perform engineering calculations, analysis and design verification
Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
Support prototype builds, testing and commissioning
Optimise designs for performance, reliability and manufacturability
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and operations teams
Provide engineering solutions that meet safety, quality and operational requirements Requirements:
