As a
Mechanical Engineer
, you will provide technical expertise to ensure the
reliability, efficiency, and uptime of mechanical systems
, particularly cooling and HVAC infrastructure within high-availability facilities. Key Responsibilities Act as SME for
mechanical and thermal systems
in data centre environments Oversee operations of
chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, HVAC, and water systems Conduct
performance audits, thermal assessments, and efficiency improvements (e.g. PUE optimisation) Lead
root cause analysis (RCA)
for mechanical and cooling-related incidents Support
cooling capacity planning, redundancy design (N, N+1, 2N), and system optimisation Review and approve
mechanical designs, drawings, and technical specifications Support construction, upgrades, and system testing (FAT, SAT, IST) Ensure compliance with
ASHRAE, ISO, NFPA
