About The Role

HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our Optronics Engineering team. This role is responsible for supporting the development, industrialisation and lifecycle management of advanced mechanical products and systems. Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will apply mechanical engineering principles, design methodologies and product lifecycle practices to develop reliable, manufacturable and high-quality solutions that meet customer, technical and business requirements.

Qualifications and experience BEng in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical product design, development and industrialisation within a product development or manufacturing environment. Experience with CAD modelling, engineering simulation and design analysis tools. Experience in engineering verification, testing, manufacturing support and product lifecycle management.
