Mechanical Engineer

Barr Engineering Co. seeks a full-time Mechanical Engineer based in Ann Arbor, MI. The Mechanical Engineer prepares detailed engineering design of gas, hazardous liquids, slurry, and other pipeline systems projects including design of trenchless crossings. This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field and three (3) years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience working as a Mechanical Engineer. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) providing remote and onsite services including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance on Hydrogen Generators, Compressors, Dispensers and Storage systems; (2) planning and executing the installation of equipment including compressors, generators, dispensers, storage units and chillers at customer sites; (...
