The department Base Engine is responsible for the hardware development of new engines and maintaining the in-production products.
Base Engine is responsible for Rotation Parts inside the base engine, like the Cranktrain system/component incl. Piston/Liner, the gear train, camshaft, oil pump but also seals, gasket, bolts and the exhaust manifold.
As the Mechanical Expert in this role, your duties will include:

  • Coordinating the development of new designs or enhancements to existing ones in collaboration with internal stakeholders across various departments and external suppliers.
