We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with a strong background in CAD and drafting, particularly in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing electrical and mechanical systems, with a proven history of designing injection molded parts. This role requires creativity in ideation and sketching, as well as proficiency in component and assembly modeling, drawing creation, and prototyping.
Responsibilities
+ Design electrical and mechanical components using SolidWorks.
+ Develop injection molded parts, with experience in designing at least 10 parts and preferably over 50.
+ Create and refine product designs for capital electrical and mechanical systems such as infusion pumps, CT, MRI, X-Ray, ventilators, dialysis, and surgical equipment.
+ Design fixtures for test methods, lab equipment, and production/manufacturing.
