Mechanical Designer

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Designer to join the talented team at Sin Yen Technologies Sdn Bhd' in our Bayan Lepas, Penang office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing machines and automation solution for factory usage.

What you'll be doing

• Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design machines, mechanical systems, production equipment based on project requirements.
• 3D Modelling and CAD : Utilize SOLIDWORS software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings of mechanical designs
• Design Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials (BOM).
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement design changes to enhance efficiency and functionality
