The Opportunity
We're recruiting for a Mechanical Design & Service Engineer to join a specialist OEM engineering business supporting the repair, refurbishment and rebuild of heavy industrial equipment and machinery.
This is a hands‑on engineering role combining mechanical design, reverse engineering, technical problem‑solving, and customer support. You'll work on the refurbishment of existing machinery, creation of replacement parts, and continuous improvement of legacy equipment.
It's a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex mechanical problems and working across the full product lifecycle, from inspection and fault diagnosis through to redesign, manufacture and assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
- Create and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation
