The Role

  • Be part of a project team to develop new products based on the framework of Atlas Copco guidance to follow-up and further design/localize the products currently in production, against the committed time, cost and quality requirements.
  • Schedule development plan and track progress throughout NPI projects.
  • Prepare preliminary concept sketches, feasibility studies, schedule and establish preliminary design, evaluate prototype models and research materials review.
  • Create concept design in 3D environment and EBOM. Defining layout, and defining product architecture on EBOM
  • Create 2D drawings with GD&T for critical parts
  • Create and lead DFMEA review with cross function to guarantee product safety and quality from design point of view
