Duties Understanding technical requirements of clients in the automotive industry Creating of innovative engineering concept solutions to meet client needs Working with other engineers to perform feasibility studies, develop models, and specify hardware and equipment Working with other engineers to improve on existing processes and mechanical designs determining and costing of mechanical hardware and Labour required for potential projects Becoming familiar with client specific mechanical design standards and practices Preparation and formatting of tender documentation Obtaining supplier quotes Adhoc tasks Requirements: Qualification in mechanical engineering or related Eagerness to enhance and grow understanding of engineering principles and systems Additional studies welcomed in the direction suited to this position Experience with 3D engineering CAD software advantageous Experience in project costing advantageous Strong Microsoft Office skills Very good verbal and written communicati...
