Senior Mechanical Engineer (6 Month Contract)

The role is within the R&D department in Weymouth. As the Senior Mechanical Engineer you will conceptualise and deliver the mechanical design of SMT printing machines and associated modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop new designs, processes, or systems based on new or evolving technology.
• Carry out complex and/or nonstandard technical analyses.
• Conduct technical risk analysis and identify mitigation measures.
• Take an active role in identifying and defining project requirements, problems, and opportunities.
• Conduct investigations and research to undertake design, development, and analysis tasks effectively.
• Implement design solutions with safety, sustainability, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
