an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a small, friendly company specialising in bespoke lifting equipment with an international client base. The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing customised products based on customer requirements.
  • Creating overall design and assembly drawings.
  • Producing detailed manufacturing drawings for in-house or external production.
  • Generating BOMs for special projects and managing procurement as required.
  • Liaising with customers to ensure designs meet their needs.
  • Coordinating with the Workshop Supervisor to deliver projects on time.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing products.
