Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support CAPEX projects and plant engineering activities for a global chemical manufacturing organization. The role involves end-to-end mechanical design, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration across project phases.

Principal Accountabilities & Key Duties

● Proactively promote a positive Health & Safety culture and ensure adherence to JM policies (including HR/EHS/Security).

● Generation of key mechanical engineering deliverables including: equipment and valve lists, piping and equipment layouts, isometrics, material and equipment specifications.

● Technical expert for mechanical discipline, providing mechanical engineering designs.

● Liaise with the Project team, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Engineering and other site or sector teams to ensure that the right systems are implemented.
