Job Description

  • Design mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX, or AutoCAD) .
  • Develop 2D manufacturing drawings , GDT, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Perform concept design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering design .
  • Conduct tolerance analysis, stress analysis, and design validation .
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost optimization.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and design modifications .
  • Implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and cost reduction initiatives .
  • Review and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability, and safety .
  • Participate in design reviews, failure analysis, and corrective actions .
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, ISO, ASME, and company procedures .
