Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design of mineral processing equipment and modular plant layouts, working within a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver projects from concept through to manufacturing and commissioning. Key Responsibilities Design mineral processing equipment and plant components using 3D CAD software Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials Perform engineering calculations including structural, mechanical, and material selection Collaborate with process engineers to translate process requirements into mechanical designs Support manufacturing teams with technical queries during fabrication Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards Contribute to the refinement of modular plant design methodologies to reduce costs and project timelines Liaise with suppliers regarding bought-out components and specifications Assist with site support during constructi...
