Mechanical Design Engineer

Introduction

Company specialising in the supply and maintenance of power generating equipment, including steam turbines and related auxiliaries is looking to hire a competent, motivated and passionate Mechanical Design Engineer.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the development
and design of components, systems, or processes from initial concept through to final implementation. This
role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across
departments.
 

Duties & Responsibilities

Reverse engineering
• Project management
• Develop detailed engineering designs using CAD and other relevant software
• Conduct design reviews, and where applicable; new design projects
• Collaborate with internal teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
