Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design automated machine modules and mechanical parts according to customer requirements and relevant automation industry standards.
• Prepare final production procedures, operation instructions, and process control instructions.
• Create detailed production drawings and prepare BOM lists for all mechanical fabrication parts and standard electro-pneumatic components.
• Undertake other design-related duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve design-related issues and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain a proper filing system within the department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

• Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
• Proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Office.
