Mechanical Design Engineer

Selectek has an immediate need for Mechanical Design Engineer interested in a career in the heavy industrial field. The engineer will be responsible for the creation, storage, and dissemination all of documentation related to proprietary equipment which is integral to the heavy industrial technologies business unit. The mechanical engineer reports directly to the manager of the Equipment Design group. This person should possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of working well within groups both internal and external to the company.




Duties and Responsibilities:

Generate detail drawings and parts lists for equipment fabrication

Develop general arrangement drawings for proprietary equipment

Develop new products as well as expand existing product lines through the use of advanced 3-dimensional modeling software

Prepare and issue requests for quotations and Purchase Requisitions
