Mechanical Bay Supervisor

Role Overview

This position is part of a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation within BDUK, supervising the mechanical bay team for key aircraft programmes such as Apache, Chinook, C-17, P-8A and E7 Wedgetail. The role ensures established process adherence, accurate work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver off‑wing support to aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP part 145 approval or the approval of the MOD customer.
• Perform duties within Boeing Vertical Lift, Apache MRO team.
• Provide supervision to the Mechanical Bay team within Boeing’s Part 145 at Wattisham.
• Be flexible with work locations and times to ensure aircraft and components are delivered on time to the customer.
• Provide advice, guidance and mentoring to peers and other appropriate personnel.
