Mechanical Fitter – Keynsham

Salary: £15.96 per hour or £30,707 annually + regular overtime at 1.5 × or 2 ×

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37‑hour week, flexible start and finish times

Benefits: 33 days holiday, pension, sick pay, parking

Location: Keynsham, BS31

Duration: Permanent

Role Overview

An opportunity to join an established, friendly and stable manufacturing company in Keynsham as a mechanical fitter in a mechanical assembly and build environment, reporting to the mechanical team leader.

Responsibilities

  • Build and install mechanical sub‑assemblies in accordance with supplied engineering drawings and specification sheets
  • Complete work in a timely manner and meet machine build timelines
  • Perform bench fitting work
  • Set up and align machine frames and tooling
