We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the AC/DC/Wire Departments. This position offers a 1st shift schedule with the potential for overtime on Fridays, which is determined by Wednesday morning. The primary role involves working within a manufacturing facility that assembles solar panel power boxes and switchboards, with tasks set up daily for efficient completion.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble panel boxes, switchboards, and wires as directed.
+ Pull and spool wire, and read blueprints to determine assembly requirements.
+ Work collaboratively in a team on the assembly line, performing non-automated tasks.
+ Utilize hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches for assembly.
+ Screw in screws, nuts, and bolts and strip wires into metal plates to assemble power boxes.
+ Achieve the assembly target of 64 panels per day after training.
