This role focuses on repairing, assembling, and troubleshooting aircraft captain chairs and seating components in a dedicated repair section. You will work in a back-shop environment, using mechanical and basic electrical skills to inspect, diagnose, and restore seating units to operational standards while following aviation maintenance procedures and documentation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on aircraft captain chairs, seating parts, and complete seating units.
+ Assemble and disassemble aircraft seating components according to technical documentation, blueprints, and work instructions.
+ Diagnose issues with seating systems using basic electrical and bench technician skills, including the use of oscilloscopes and other test equipment where required.
