Mechanical Assembler

Our customer has a Mechanical Assembler job available. This is a three month contract due to a medical leave. Essential duties and responsibilities-Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products-Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub- assemblies using basic hand and power tools-Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation-Rework/repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes-Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures-Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision-Perform other duties and projects as assigned-Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion
