Mechanic (Part-Time)

Matrix HR is looking for a reliable and skilled Part-Time Mechanic to join our client’s team. This role focuses on routine maintenance and minor repairs for light trucks, vans, and 1-tonne pickups.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and checking/replenishing fluids such as coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid to ensure vehicles run safely and efficiently.


• Inspect brakes and perform minor repairs or replacements to maintain optimal safety standards.


• Diagnose minor mechanical and electrical problems using visual inspections and basic diagnostic tools, and provide clear recommendations for necessary repairs.


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and ready for use.
