Position Objective
The Packaging Mechanic will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of high-speed packaging equipment in a very fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on production machines.
+ Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
+ Troubleshoot malfunctions through understanding of power transmission systems, fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics), and other machine components and systems.
+ Locate root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
