Job Purpose
Assemblers/Mechanics use electrical and mechanical knowledge and skills to assemble locomotive parts and components. Operations include wiring, mechanical assembly, fabricating, and repair work.
Rebuild locomotive motors, Wheel sets and other locomotive parts and sub assemblies in accordance with AAR Regulations, customer specifications, company guidelines and checklists.
