Mechanic

The
Mechanic
is responsible for servicing, repairing, replacing/ installing, and performing preventive maintenance on engines, drives, generators, hydraulic, air systems, and any other mechanical equipment associated with ESG GOM Fluids. Will troubleshoot and identify maintenance needs as necessary for all machinery and equipment.

• Follows preventive maintenance procedures on all mechanical equipment. Maintains records.


• Troubleshoots equipment daily and takes immediate steps to correct any problems.


• Cleans equipment and any other areas as needed.


• Watches for spills, leaks, or sheens around locations and take proper actions if noted.


• Operates equipment and engines as needed. Maintains proper air / hydraulic pressures.


• Must follow assigned Maintenance Work Orders.


• Assists with ensuring compliance with lockout-tagout procedures for any equipment under repair.
