Mechanic – Heavy Vehicle

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy‑duty trucks, buses, and specialized vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, brake adjustments, and tire rotations.
• Conduct thorough inspections and pre‑trip checks to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic reports to accurately pinpoint and resolve vehicle malfunctions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in heavy vehicle mechanics is highly preferred.
• Hold relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in medium/heavy duty truck or specific manufacturer training.
