Mechanic

Our client is looking for a Mechanic or Millwright to join their food manufacturing facility in the GTA.

$36 - $45/hr + OT

• Mechanical background using tools, in addition to possessing relevant training is a MUST.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferably in a food processing environment.
• Good command and understanding of the English language.
• Need to be able to perform mathematical calculations, read and understand equipment manuals, diagrams and guide.
• Responsible for prestart inspection, installing, adjusting, measuring and replacing equipment while following Food Safety, Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Heavy lifting and dexterity are required along with Forklift and walkie certification and experience,
• Previous millwright experience would be an asset as you will work as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently
