The responsibilities of the Mechanic 1st Class include but are not limited to the following mechanical and E&I requirements:
Safely perform general mechanical work as required including construction, repairs, modifications, inspections, and troubleshooting.Mechanical job assignments include rebuilds to OEM specifications and tolerances, repair, precision alignment and replacement of pumps, blowers, compressors, alignment, bearings, piping, valves, cranes & rigging, heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, gear reducers, hydraulic systems, boilers, steam systems, screw conveyors, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and other equipment.Safely perform general electrical and instrumentation work as required including construction, repairs, modifications, inspections, and troubleshooting.Process instrumentation calibration using software for planning, managing and documentation.Electrical and Instrumentation job assi...
