Job Description

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist other Measurement Technicians or Supervisor with routine measurement functions.

  • Learn and gain a good basic knowledge of Natural Gas Characteristics, Gas Plant Operations, Engine & Compressor Operations and Maintenance, and Gas & Liquid Measurement. There will be verbal review sessions to determine learning progress and assist in the individual’s development.

  • Perform scheduled calibrations, gas sampling, troubleshooting, repair and installation of Electronic Flow Measurement equipment, specifically Totalflow.

  • Witness and verify third party meter calibrations.

  • Assist in the operation, calibration and troubleshooting of H2S monitors. Assist in locating and tracking H2S within the pipeline system.

  • General cleanup of assigned work areas (Measurement shop, office, company truck, etc.)
