Mattress Cell Assembler (CAN)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Place mattress springs on mattress building table.
• Attach mattress components to springs and use fastener guns to bind the components.
• Flip the mattress over and repeat previous step.
• Temporarily attach border for tape edge operator.
• Lifts bed and carries to tape-edge work station, puts mattress on stack at tape-edge line.
• Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Completes any necessary paperwork or production-related documentation in an accurate and timely manner as needed.
• Sweep floors and maintain work area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Performs job duties in a safe and efficient manner and is responsible for basic machine maintenance and supplies at work station.
• Cross trains as requested in order to efficiently produce, quantity and minimal scrap/waste standards as needed.
