Job Description

Maine Coast Semester at Chewonki is seeking an experienced Math Teacher to join our faculty and support a place-based curriculum that integrates language learning with community engagement and the natural environment. This position plays a key role in helping students build meaningful math skills through thoughtful instruction and real-world application.

  • Location: Wiscasset, Maine (On Campus, in-person)

  • Reports to: Head of School

  • Permanent/Temporary: Interim (with potential for rehire)

  • Schedule/2026 Dates: Academic Year; 

    August, 2026 - May 31, 2027

  • Starting Salary: $45,500 (negotiable based on experience)
