Materials Planning Analyst I

Supports the scheduling and the movement of materials throughout the production cycle and develops specifications for new contract orders.
**Responsibilities and authority**- Evaluate Planned Orders to create suitable productions schedules.
- Estimate the amount of material to be used in the production schedule (Clear-to-build).
- Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Monitoring and creation of deliveries per Customer needs (Customer Requested Date).
- Notify Sales & Customer Service teams of any schedule impacts to customers.
- Monitor actual output versus the Master Production Plan.
- Review past due orders to determine most effective action-reschedule.
- Timely reporting of key metrics (Past Due & Ship-to-Request)- Aid VSM and Materials Manager in achievement of performance targets, including delivery, inventory, and cost avoidance/cost reduction.
