Material Planner / Analyst

Automotive industry (Metal Stamping and Welding)

Location: Newmarket onsite

Hours: 7am to 4pm

Responsibilities

• Issue weekly releases for purchased items required for production.
• Daily receiving and monitoring of supplier shipments to ensure on time delivery.
• Communicate any quality or delivery concerns to scheduling and management.
• Send out RFQ for new quoted business.
• Assist with new program launch and issues RFQ and PO's for engineering requests.
• Involved in supplier development (new and existing), selection, and negotiations.
• Complete quarterly supplier performance evaluations and follow up on open issues.
• Issue and maintain NCR system.
• Responsible for maintaining approved supplier list and other supplier documentation.
• Maintain records of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
