Materials Planner B

Objective



Help analyze the list of materials and purchases of raw materials, purchased parts, and the equipment needed for the manufacture of product components or consumables.

Activities

  • Help plan deliveries based on production forecasts, market conditions, material substitution, and the capacity of production lines, storage, and handling.

  • Responsible for reviewing material lists to ensure compliance with the company's standardized practices regarding the use of parts and materials.

  • Establish and maintain a unit processing system that ensures a WIP level lower than the limit specified by the company.

  • Perform the measurement and monitoring of material consumption.

  • Present daily information, or whenever requested, regarding the area’s results in operations meetings.
