Job Requirements
- Interacting with global customers and understanding customers specific need in the area of materials engineering support
- Creating material specifications (both metallic and nonmetallic) as per business requirements.
- Maintaining material specifications library as per changes in material regulations and changes in associated global standards (ASTM/EN etc.)
- Developing Material Declarations for BOM (at product/details/assembly level) for material regulations such as REACH, IHM, and RoHS etc.
- Working in PLM tool to keep the customer database updated according to the revised material specifications
- Resolving regulation related queries to customer
- Reviewing and approving the supplier declaration with respect to legislation requirements
- B.E/B.Tech in Material Science or Metallurgy.
