About the Role

A talented individual skilled as a Materials Engineer is required to join the Special Projects team at Lockheed Martin, Ampthill. The job will involve a range of materials research activities. We are in need of someone to do hands on materials R&D and possibly some some hands-on testing.

Niche skills are required across composites . Composite focus is on Carbon / Silica phenolic composite processing and characterisation. We are also looking into novel technologies for space and aerospace applications so experience in high temperature materials / materials used in hypersonics would be a welcome addition.
