Job Description
Overview
The office‑based Material Coordinator is responsible for managing all activities necessary to enable effective end‑to‑end coordination of materials in support of projects. Reporting to the Manager of Material Coordination and Project Support, the coordinator works with Project Managers, Project Engineering, Project Controls, Supply Chain Contract Analysts, SC Buyers, SC Expediting & Logistics, and other key stakeholders to identify, requisition, and coordinate project materials. The core accountability is to ensure that project materials are delivered on time and to the correct location to support project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate material lead time estimates from Supply Chain and develop a schedule for placing material orders in time to meet the project schedule.
- Review Technical Drawings with a high level of attention to detail.
