Job Description

The activity consists in developing and performing characterization test on raw material and final products to define and identify their chemical and physical properties. Here below a list of characterization techniques:

STANDARD TESTS

  • Thermal analysis (for transition phase determination – melting / crystallization)
  • Mechanical analysis (elongation / strength / modulus vs temperature)
  • Chemical analysis (spectroscopy methods)
  • Sensitivity to environmental stresses evaluation (ex: humidity / heat / mechanical stresses)
  • Microscopy analysis (digital and optical microscopy)

    • ADVANCED TESTS

  • Raman – atomic force combination
  • Scanning Electron Microscopy
  • X-ray analysis
  • Thermal Properties of polymers and blends (LFA / THB)
  • Combined techniques (DSC + TGA)
